Build a Home Project
This campaign is to buy a house every year for one family. There is an explosive growth of shacks and Shantytowns in South Africa’s major urban areas.
Estimates suggest that 26% of households in the 6 metropolitan areas in our country live in in-formal dwellings, often “illegal” and with limited access to services. Movement from the informal to formal sector is also very low.
A standard house for a family of 6 costs R250 000.00 to build. With your help we would like to build at least one house per year for starters.
