COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT

0RPHANS' PLACEMENTS BRIDGING ASSISTANCE

We - look after the welfare of emotionally and physically abused, abandoned, neglected, and disadvantaged children while their orphanage placement is in progress.

Our primary purpose in this project is to provide the children with clothing, housing, schooling, food, security and stability. In addition, we aim to provide the children with the necessary temporary therapy that will offer emotional support that they need.

FOOD & NUTRITION DISTRIBUTION PROGRAMME

Our Response

In response to this, through the Hunger and Poverty Eradication initiative developed a Nutrition and Food distribution program designed to respond to this problem by routinely distributing nutritious and protein-rich food items (Food Hampers) monthly and diet education to the beneficiaries located in the various communities within the programs reach. We give monthly food hampers.

In the same light, Local Soup Kitchens will be established to provide nutritious hot meals daily to beneficiaries within different communities.

ELDERLY PROGRAMMES

We also provide care for elderly people, who we have our volunteers go out and assist to feed, bathe and take to hospitals and clinics and make sure they get their medication.

HOUSING

BUILD A HOME

This campaign is to buy a house every year for one family. There is an explosive growth of shacks and Shantytowns in South Africa’s major urban areas. Estimates suggest that 26% of households in the 6 metropolitan areas in our country live in in-formal dwellings, often “illegal” and with limited access to services. Movement from the informal to formal sector is also very low.

A standard house for a family of 6 costs R250 000.00 to build. With your help we would like to build at least one house per year for starters.

Two ways you can help!

DONATE A BRICK

For an individual donation of R250.00 we give you a T-Shirt and R350.00 we give you a Sweat Shirt as a token of appreciation for your contribution.

Your name will be engraved on the Brick.

DONATE A PALLET OF BRICKS

For an Individual/ Corporate donation of R50, 000.00 towards 500 bricks (a pallet), we give you 10 T-Shirt/ Sweat Shirts, Trophy, Certificate of involvement as a token of appreciation for your contribution.

Your company/individual name will be engraved onto the bricks.
